Jarlshof is the name of this site. Jarlshof located on the West of Sandburgh Voe is remarkable because of the succession of archeological levels of occupation on the site. Occupation there began in the Bronze age through the Iron Age, followed by Norse and medieval occupation and finally a 17th century house was built there by the Stewarts.
